INVITATION FOR CHAPTER PROPOSALS AND SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPATION
Contribute a chapter to the anthology “Learning Spaces in Higher Education”to be published worldwide by Libri Publishing Ltd. Then join fellow authors for an inspiring and productive symposium in Michigan, where all authors of accepted chapters will meet to review, edit and finalise their chapters for the anthology, and join forces to finalise the manuscript for international publication.

ABOUT THE ANTHOLOGY
Pedagogy (or its Latin equivalent education) has traditionally focused on the operations of teaching and learning. But the context of teaching and learning— the places in which learning occurs— is equally important. Indeed, these ‘learning spaces’ can limit the types of activities which can be used by the teacher. They can influence the social interactions between teachers and students, and between students themselves. They can impact the affective and cognitive, the behavioural, and even the physiological responses of students. In summary, they can help or they can hinder learning.
For this anthology, therefore, the editors seek chapters which explore this idea of learning spaces… within the domain of higher education and with an emphasis on learning, as per the focus of LiHE. They welcome chapters from all scientific disciplines and which follow any methodological tradition.
The editors will be guided by three broad but interrelated themes:
Any chapter, however, irrespective of the guiding theme, must address both learning spaces and higher education explicitly.

The anthology is edited by Dr. Claus Nygaard, Copenhagen Business School; Dr. John Branch, University of Michigan; Dr. Linda (Lennie) Scott-Webber, Steelcase
